J.P. College, Narayanpur has a well-maintained Central Library with a well-furnished reading hall. The library serves as a key academic resource for all students and faculty members of the college.

The library houses approximately 15,000 books of different subjects, categorized subject-wise and kept in various almirahs. The collection covers all subjects taught at the college, including Arts and Science streams. Various newspapers and journals of different subjects are made available to students and faculty.

The college has a Library Advisory Committee consisting of the Principal as Chairman, Librarian, faculty members from Social Science and Science departments, Accountant and Head Clerk. The committee regularly meets to make the library student-friendly. Orders for journals in almost all subjects have been placed. Efforts for computerization, internet connection, e-library and Departmental Library are being made actively.

The digitization of the library is in progress and going to be completed very shortly. Physical verification of the Library has been completed by a committee of faculty members. A well-developed spacious reading room with proper facilities has been recommended by the committee. The committee has also discussed the needs of printers, scanners and photocopiers.

Working hours on working days are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On holidays the library is open as per requirement.
