Established in 1952 by the renowned freedom fighter Late Shivdhari Prasad Singh, the Jai Prakash College, Narayanpur is a prestigious constituent unit of Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU). The Department of Political Science here has a long-standing history of providing quality higher education to students in the rural and semi-urban areas of Bhagalpur, Bihar.
